The Squirrel 7000 is the ultimate multi- layered mattress and includes one separate layer of memory foam cut into several hundred springs. Each putty-foam spring warms to the user’s body temperature, softening and moulding itself to the contours of the body – filling the voids of the lower back, knees etc.
The pressure load is distributed more evenly, meaning that the product can be used by most patients, especially those who might find an air mattress painful. It has been successfully used during the managed treatment of grade one ulcers.
