A light weight water proof draw sheet attaches to the mattress base complete with quick release buckles. Located on each side of this draw sheet is a 10cm hook & loop (velcro style) strip.
Two sets of lateral positioning aids (20cm x 90cm) can then be affixed to this draw sheet base.
Both the draw sheet & positioning wedges are covered in vapour permeable waterproof fabric (optional cotton drawsheet’s are available). The patient is then able to be positioned.
Alternative to bed rails?
Some clients, following an assessment with regards to the use of bed rails, will opt to use positioning aids to prevent a client rolling out of bed, muscle spasms rather than use bed rails. Of course this must be assessed locally and professionally prior to deployment.
Available as standard 20cm x 90cm or with a full length drawsheet (price upon request) with an extra pair of wedges.
